Group trip expenses
Track shared vacation receipts without losing the detail
Qayro gives a trip organiser one place to review multiple receipts, allocate items fairly, and see what the group has confirmed or marked as settled elsewhere.
From individual receipts to one trip view
Trips rarely produce one neat total. There may be meals, tickets, groceries, taxis, and accommodation paid by different people. Qayro’s trip workflow is built around the receipts behind those expenses, so the organiser can keep the item-level context instead of entering only a final balance.
After the organiser reviews the receipt details, the group can use secure links to confirm allocations. The resulting ledger is a record of shared expenses and external settlement status, not a bank account or payment service.
Currency handling is explicit
A Qayro trip uses one base currency. That avoids presenting an invented or silently changing exchange rate as fact. If a group spends in several currencies, the organiser decides the agreed base-currency values before adding them; Qayro does not calculate foreign exchange conversions.
- Supported product currencies include GBP, EUR, USD, and JPY.
- JPY is handled without fractional minor units.
- The organiser remains responsible for any agreed currency conversion.
Good fit for a real group holiday
The workflow suits groups that want more detail than a notes document but less friction than requiring every traveller to create an account. Friends can respond from their browser, while the organiser keeps the trip ledger in the iOS app.
The organiser experience is built for iOS, while recipients use their browser. Availability and supported features are defined by the current App Store release and the product facts published on this site.
