Qayro

No-app bill splitting

Split a bill without making everyone install an app

Qayro is designed for a familiar group problem: one person organises the bill, but everyone else should not have to download another app just to say what they owe.

How accountless bill splitting works

The organiser creates the bill, checks the receipt details, and shares a secure link with the group. Each recipient opens the link in a browser, reviews the relevant items, and confirms their share. That keeps the organising tools with the person doing the work while removing signup friction for everyone else.

A private link is not a public bill page. Qayro excludes recipient links from search indexing and does not use them as marketing content. Anyone who receives a link should treat it as private and share it only with the intended group.

What Qayro tracks—and what it does not

  • Receipt items and reviewed allocations
  • Whether a recipient has confirmed their share
  • Whether the group records that someone settled elsewhere
  • No card or bank credentials as product fields
  • No money transfer, collection, or custody

When this approach is useful

No-app participation is useful for restaurant groups, housemates, work socials, gifts, and occasional trips where the group may never need the same expense app again. It is especially helpful when one person already has the receipt and simply needs a clear answer from several people.

The organiser experience is built for iOS and the recipient experience runs in a web browser. Availability depends on the current App Store release; these public pages describe the intended workflow and its limitations without promising access outside supported release channels.
